Description

The outdoor fiber optic box with 4 SC ports is intended for installation on building facades, in entrance halls and technical niches. The enclosure with a tight-fitting cover protects the connections from dust, splashes and accidental contact. Inside there is a pad for four SC adapters, cable clamps and a slack fiber storage area. Mounting is done with the standard lugs onto a wall or with clamps onto a pole.

The box acts as a last-mile distribution point: one entry cable feeds several subscribers or outdoor surveillance cameras. Fibers are spliced onto pigtails and brought out to the adapters, from which subscriber lines and patch cords fan out to the connection points. The 4-port format covers a typical apartment entrance or a small surveillance perimeter without excessive cost. The box and splicing consumables are available from our warehouse in Tashkent — we can help kit out the node for your project.

Advantages

  • Tight-fitting cover against dust and splashes
  • Compact enclosure for cramped niches
  • Pad for 4 SC adapters
  • Cable clamps and slack fiber storage
  • Lugs for wall and pole mounting

Applications

  • Building facades and last-mile distribution
  • Entrances of residential buildings
  • Technical niches and floor panels
  • Outdoor video surveillance nodes

Mounting and connection

The box is placed at a height out of reach of casual interference and, where possible, under a canopy: direct precipitation shortens the life of any outdoor connections. The entry cable is secured with the standard clamps so that tension is not transferred to the splices; fibers are spliced onto pigtails, and the joints are protected with heat-shrink splice sleeves. Slack fiber is coiled with the bend radius observed. Subscriber lines plug into the SC adapters and are labeled — this noticeably speeds up later maintenance. A typical layout: the trunk arrives from a patch panel, while lines run from the box to subscribers or perimeter cameras.

How many subscribers can be connected?
Up to 4 subscriber lines from a single entry.
How is the box mounted?
With the standard lugs onto a wall or with clamps onto a pole.
Can a drop cable be brought into the box?
Yes, the subscriber drop cable is secured with the standard clamps and spliced in the common splice zone next to the fiber slack.
