Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-PRO is a gigabit dual-band 802.11ac access point with a moisture-resistant housing, equally suitable for both indoor installation and protected outdoor areas. A coverage radius of up to 122 meters combined with operation in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands makes it a reliable solution for sites that need a wide Wi-Fi zone without dead spots. Management is carried out through a single UniFi controller.

Frequently asked questions

Can the UAP-AC-PRO be installed outdoors?

Thanks to its moisture-resistant housing, the access point allows installation in protected outdoor areas (under a canopy, awning), but it is not intended for direct exposure to precipitation without additional protection.

Is a separate power adapter required?

No, the device is powered via PoE from a compatible switch or injector — a separate power unit is not needed.

Is a UniFi controller needed for basic operation?

The access point can work in standalone mode, however for full management, roaming and a guest portal it is recommended to deploy a UniFi controller.
