CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+RM is the senior access switch with PoE: 48 gigabit ports powering devices over the cable, four SFP+ at 10 Gbps and two QSFP+ at 40 Gbps in a 1U case.

This is for sites where PoE devices are counted in dozens: a large CCTV system, a building with Wi-Fi on every floor, an office on IP telephony. All forty-eight ports supply power, so one rack serves a whole floor without a single socket at a camera or an access point.

The strong uplink — four at 10 and two at 40 Gbps — accounts for fifty cameras pushing a serious stream to the recording server. RouterOS/SwOS management includes per-port power control: a device can be rebooted remotely without a site visit.
