hAP ax³ is the senior model of the hAP line with Wi-Fi 6: a reinforced radio, five gigabit ports, both bands working at once.
It differs from the smaller models in transmitter power and coverage area. Where the ax lite confidently holds a flat, the ax³ takes a house or an office in full, including far rooms behind walls.
Wi-Fi 6 with OFDMA and MU-MIMO is built for dense load: thirty devices in an office do not form a queue as they did on the previous standard. Inside is full RouterOS — VPN to head office, firewall, a VLAN for the guest network, detailed per-client statistics.

How does the ax³ justify the price gap to the ax²?
Powerful amplifiers and antennas, a 2.5G port and CPU headroom: large apartments with concrete walls and above-gigabit plans are its element.
Why does a home router need a 2.5G port?
Provider plans are outgrowing the gigabit, and a NAS on the home network hit that wall long ago: 2.5G removes the ceiling without going fiber.
Will it carry half a flat of smart home?
