MikroTik RB960PGS-PB is the outdoor version of the RB960PGS router-switch in a protected housing: five gigabit Ethernet ports, four with PoE-out support, an SFP slot and a full-featured RouterOS. The device is intended for outdoor installation — on poles, building facades and in outdoor mounting cabinets, where a compact network node with powering of connected devices and resistance to the external environment is needed.

Advantages

  • Outdoor housing: protection against the effects of moisture, dust and temperature fluctuations during outdoor installation
  • 4 PoE-out ports: powering outdoor IP cameras, access points and other equipment without laying power cables
  • SFP slot: flexible connection to the network via fiber optics or a copper interface
  • RouterOS: professional routing, VPN, firewall and monitoring tools
  • Compactness: replaces a separate router and PoE switch in one outdoor housing
  • Savings on installation: no need to lay power cables to each outdoor device

Applications

  • Outdoor video surveillance systems: powering and connecting cameras on the perimeter of a facility
  • Urban Wi-Fi networks: outdoor aggregation points for wireless infrastructure
  • Industrial territories and warehouses: a network node for video surveillance and access control
  • Facilities without utility rooms: an autonomous network node in an outdoor design
