MikroTik CRS504-4XQ-IN

CRS504-4XQ-IN is a compact switch with four QSFP28 ports at 100 Gbps. A device the size of a desktop box delivers 400 Gbps in total — a figure that until recently meant a cabinet of equipment and a notably larger budget. Its place is the core of a small data centre, the junction between racks, the backbone between buildings. Each QSFP28 port can be broken out into four 25 Gbps lanes with a splitter cable, so four physical ports become sixteen logical ones. Cooling is passive and consumption is low — the unit needs neither a rack nor arranged heat removal. RouterOS provides routing, VLANs and firewall on the same hardware.
